Astreon — Balance Update Changelog
Progression Rebalance
Leveling & XP
- Increased XP required per level significantly.
- Early levels are now slower to obtain.
- Mid and late-game progression has been extended to better match combat rewards.
- Skill point acquisition is now more meaningful and less explosive.
Enemy Scaling
- Increased enemy HP across the entire campaign.
- Early enemies are more durable.
- Mid and late-game encounters now better withstand chain reactions and special rune combos.
- Boss fights are intended to last longer and require more tactical planning.
Skill Balance
Mana Costs
- Increased mana costs for nearly all active skills.
- High-impact abilities now require stronger board setup and mana management.
- Ultimate-tier abilities now demand major resource investment.
Combat Flow
- Players must now plan elemental chains more carefully.
- Bonus turns and special rune detonations remain powerful but are no longer enough to instantly overwhelm encounters.
Economy Rework
Shop Prices
- Increased prices for potions, consumables, equipment, and runestones.
- Rare and powerful items are now long-term investments.
- Gold gained during combat remains rewarding while reducing excessive economic snowballing.
Resource Balance
- Mana, XP, gold, and skull generation from special rune chains remain unchanged.
- Instead of reducing rewards, the entire game economy and progression curve were adjusted upward to preserve the fun and explosive gameplay identity of Astreon.
Gameplay Philosophy

- Preserving the “power fantasy” of special runes.
- Avoiding hard reward caps or artificial limitations.
